This site is dedicated to the memory of Lieutenant Commander John Dermot Hegarty.
Lt Comdr RN (Retd) John Dermot Hegarty, late of Cork) passed away in hospital in England on 27th June 2012 after a short illness aged 84 years. A private family funeral will take place in England on 11th July. His wife Bernice Hegarty, son Michael and daughter Sarah request no flowers but personal donations please be made directly to RNLI
